Crime Scene DK Yarn

This yarn is small-batch spun at a mill near Seattle from my small-batch, custom-designed blend of Crime Scene fiber.

DK skeins are 100 grams, 275 yards of 3-ply yarn spun to be great for sweaters, house socks, mitts, hats, and other garments.

Yarn has excellent stitch definition, perfect for cables and textured stitch patterns.

Also available in fingering weight.

Superfine 18.5 Micron Merino 37.5%
Shetland 37.5%
Mulberry Silk 25%

I have a few of these skeins hand-dyed in tonal shades. I swear I had them photographed at one point, but cannot find the photos. :-/ Add one to your cart and leave a request for a surprise skein. Or don't. That's fine too.

2x A brilliant Santorini-style blue

2x A deep, dark navy

3x Medium grey

1x like a kind of medium brownish greyish whatever neutral thing

Please take care while hand-washing the crafted item, as this blend can felt.

I try to photograph colors as accurately as possible. Please keep in mind that color varies from monitor to monitor--what looks right on my screen may not be the same on yours!
